Ankoku for a second visibly panicked and said: "Of course... what about... sweets? What is your favorite sweets?"

"Not a fan of those either," she said. "Thres more to a girl's heart than flowers and sweets, you know."

Akise holes himself up in his room happily, pulling out a book to read and glancing at the pages, half of his mind absorbing the words and the other half wandering and thinking about his upcoming birthday. It would be the same as it's always been, him avoiding all forms of social contact and contently reading something or wasting the day on the computer. He might even treat himself to something sweet this year, though he wasn't a big fan of things like that. He was in college now, so why not? He had enough money to splurge if he chose to, and hell, he might even go crazy and get a few new books from the bookstore in town. He snorted quietly at that thought, burying his nose further into his book. His definition of 'crazy' seemed to differ greatly from that of the others here at the college.

A bunch of immature teenagers. That's all he ever saw.

After sending the text, all he had to do was wait. He set his phone to vibrate, so Akise had little chance to hear it. He got up from the chair and closed the laptop, putting it in sleep mode. He then knocked on the door, not wanting to barge in on Akise.

"Hey, mind if i come in?"

Ankoku twitched his eye at this and nodded. Surely she had ... quite the tempter.

"I shall.... think of something within the few minutes, my dear comrad and companion to such a celebration", he said with a bow.

"In the meanwhile, do as you will, as I shall be timely regardless such.... might you both spend a nice day..... I wish such myself", he said as he started skidding with his wax covered shoes waving.... again losing control as he went turning at the corner and a large crashing sound in the background.

"I am fine. I have thick bones"

"Ugh," Nuala said and shut the door when Ankoku left. "Done with Konbei already?" she said to Gwene.

Gwene nodded "I gave him a little something to keep him going for the night." she quickly checked the mirror to see if she was alright, her hair was slightly messy, so she sat down to fix it.

"Ugh, is he gone yet?" a voice came from beneath Nuala's bed.

Gwene squealed in surprise.

"Yeah," Nuala, laughing a little. "You can come out now."

Sergius crawled out from under Nuala's bed and sat on it. "Well, sounds like you two lovely ladies will be in for a treat."

Gwene laughed at Sergius' sudden appearance, she then went back to fixing up her slight messed hair, it didn't take her long to fix the problem.

"You should have just let him see you here," Nuala said to Sergius.

Sergius nodded "Maybe. But we'll see how things play out." he paused. He wasn't entirely confident about the plan, he wanted to toughen him up for the big game, but maybe it would have been easier to talk to the coach about it. "Is the coast clear?" he asked Nuala.

"Yeah," Nuala said. "I guess I'll see you later then..."

Sergius gave her a quick kiss on the lips and left without being seen.

"He seemed quite hesitant to go through with it." Gwene said, watching him leave "What about you?"

Nuala shrugged. "I know he told me too but it doesn't feel right flirting with Ankoku," she said.

"Well, you could say you two made up." Gwene said, talking about Nuala's lie to Ankoku about her and Sergius splitting "Then we can all go out and have a good time."

"That's what Sergius said," Nuala said. "Though I am kind of looking forward to seeing him being beaten up."

"You could twist Ankoku's words." Gwene said "And do it yourself."

Akise stiffened momentarily, his head tilting upwards and his eyes narrowing at the door. He clutched his book tighter in his lap and proceeded to frown for a moment, the facial expression disappearing quickly but not before the thoughts that had invoked it had taken over his mind. What does he want? he wondered, unhappy with the intrusion. Of course, Deserax had knocked, but that didn't excuse the fact that he was being bothered.

Curling up tighter in the corner of his bed, his eyes still trained on the door, he took a moment of pause for the decision making process. He contemplated simply turning him away, but in the long run, that just might make me his life at the college a bit more difficult. Living with a roommate that had come to dislike him couldn't be pleasant, right? Sighing softly, Akise shook his head quickly, his hostile demeanor fading away so as not to seem so... Well, hostile.

"... No, you may proceed."

Deserax opened up the door, and peeked his head in. He saw Akise on his bed, holding a book.

"Sorry if i interrupted your reading, but i was thinking, you could show me that one game you play a lot."

"What do you mean?" Nuala said to Gwene.

"You could say he tricked you into liking him." Gwene said, unsure what Nuala actually said to Ankoku.

"Hm, no that wouldn't really work, I had to force him into taking us to the party," Nuala said. "Honestly, I'm wondering if he only plays football just so he can roll around on the ground and grab other guys... If you can see what I mean."

Gwene suddenly laughed loudly. "Oh my goodness, I would not be surprised." she calmed down after her little laughing fit. "So, you want to still go through with it?"

Sergius returned to his room to find a flustered Konbei. "So, again huh?"

"Yep," Konbei, a proud look on his face. "You? Or did you just go over there to tease her again?" he said, chuckling a little.

"Probably. Are you still all for it?" Nuala said.

"I was." Sergius grinned "But that little shit Ankoku turned up, and I hid under her bed."
