Shadow Of The End

Amazing, Doloris grabbed ahold of the sword, and tried to yank it out of her hand.

To wield such a heavy blade in the first place, Lyn had to have a firm grip- and it was just firm enough to keep Doloris from yanking it out of her grasp. However, infuriated that this foul monster was even laying his hands on her blade, she gripped hold of it tighter and shoved it towards him, hoping to take his attempted attack and use it to her advantage by slicing off the very fingers he'd used to try and grab it out of her hands.

Doloris leapt backward to avoid the stab. Callio leapt in, and swung his blade at him. They clashed, and Doloris kicked him away. Callio slashed at his legs, and he dodged.

Eiria paused a listened carefully, but it was difficult to hear anything in the wind.

"...ca...anything?" came Aediox's voice. It was apparent that the blizzard was either getting thicker, or he was getting further wawy from them.

"Aediox?" Eiria could barely hear him. She moved towards the sound of his voice, through she didn't know which way was forward or back.

The blizzard was really picking up. However, the sound of someone else moving through the sound was apparent; there was someone else near Eiria...

Her numb fingers found the ice-cold hilt of her sword and she drew it from its sheath. She squinted and shielded her face from the biting snow. Maybe it was best to stay still, she didn't want to end up dropping of a cliff.

...and then something wrapped its arms around her, and began trying to drag her away. Whatever was holding her was not only furry, but immensly strong.

Eiria gasped, but didn't scream and with the little range of movement she had, tried to stab whatever the hell was dragging her away.

While the blade didn't quiet sink in, it certainly swipe across something. There was a shriek, and whatever was holding her let go.

She fell forward into the snow and turned around to look at the creature - it couldn't have been human; it was far too big, strong and... furry.

The creature, whatever it had been, was able to blend in with the blizzard somehow. Its footsteps were further away now, but there was blood on the snow where it had been, leading off in a drip trail.

Eiria's frowned in curiosity and started following the blood trail.

The trail would eventually lead her to what looked like a burrow on the side of a ridge.

Eiria kept her sword drawn as she came across the burrow. "Hello?" She called out.

There was noise like someone moving from within, but no reply.

Eiria hesitated before moving closer to the burrow and trying to get a look inside it.

The inside of the burrow was actually quite large; it was more of a cave. There was a fire inside, and the furry thing was sitting at the end of the cave, illuminated somewhat by the fire. It was nursing the cut Eiria had left on its arm.

The heat rippling off from the fire made Eiria's freezing skin tingle warmly. Her eyes narrowed when she saw the creature's silhouette and she was unsure whether or not to approach it in case it tried to take her again.

The creature appeared to have not noticed to her. It simply sat there, trying to stop the bleeding.

The more she looked at it the sooner she realised the creature didn't seem vicious. "...Hey?" Eiria said, her tone more gentle.

The fuzzy thing turned to look at her. It was a Yeti, although...she seemed to look very feminine.

"...uh?" she mouthed.

Eiria drew back a little when the Yeti looked at her. She'd never seen one this close and until now thought their existence was nothing more than a myth.

"...Are you okay?" She asked. She didn't even know if the yeti could speak...

The yeti stared at her blankly, and then at the cut, and then at her.

"...kinda, uh."
