The Mad King of Hyrule

"I know a few people who plan on rebelling against the King," she said. "I promised I would do what I could to help them. Either that or be killed by racists... Or captured by bounty hunters..."

"The Mad King?" Sergius asked suddenly. He fell quiet suddenly, as if deep in thought.

"Something on your mind?" Nuala said.

"You could say that." his tone became dark "He killed the guardian of my old village." his fist's were clenched and were shaking with uncontrolable hatred.

"So do something about it," Nuala said. "You hardly seem like the passive type."

"Believe me, I have tried." Sergius said, a little calmer "But the security around him is unbelievable. An insect wouldn't even get through the front doors."

He got from his bed and went to his pipe and tobacco, he stuffed some in his pipe and lit it, calming him down more.

"As for clothes." he pointed to a nearby closet "There might be something that would fit you in there."

Little to Nuala's knowledge, his hideout was his old home, from when he was younger. Many of the things from then still remained.

"Well perhaps you didn't have the right resources," Nuala said. She went over to the closet and looked for something that would fit her. "How about if promise not to hand me over, I'll let you join us and ensure you get your revenge. We could use the extra strength as well..."

She found a long dress and used her knife to shorten it so it was more practical. She slipped it on and examined her handy work in a wall-mirror, deciding it would have to do for now.

"Perhaps." Sergius replied. He had been working solo for a long time, and working in a group would be difficult for him. Deciding to play on his macho facade he replied to Nuala again. "I'll accept your deal, so long as you... show me more of what you do in your line of business." he gave her a slight smirk.

"Deal," Nuala said casually. "We should get out of here as soon as possible then."

Sergius finshed his pipe and made for his clothes. Not long after he was fully kitted out and ready to go. He was quiet for a few moments, as if looking for something, then he spoke "Alright, the coast is clear. Let's go." he opened the door quietly and lead her out.

Nuala followed Sergius out, keeping her knife drawn.

Sergius lead her out to the Hidden Village. He then began to leave, looking around as he did.

"If we move quickly," Nuala started, keeping her down slightly, "we might reach them before they reach the castle..."

"Them?" Sergius asked, as he continued walking.

"My son and some others," she said.

"Your son?" Sergius said, he tripped suddenly but managed to keep his footing. "Wow, you really do meet some interesting people, don't you."

"If it's any consolation, I pulled the short straw with his father, if you catch my drift..." Nuala said.

Sergius winced slightly "Ouch, and he got you pregnant? Wow, I don't know who to feel sorry for."

"Stop it," Nuala said but couldn't help but laugh a little. "I'm thankful he gave me a child, that's all that matters... Or so I told myself."

they were upon the castle now, just infront of one of the enerances. "then lets go!"

Ember nodded. "Alright, let's go then. We'll just have to be sneaky."

Demios stopped. "So you're leaving me here?"

Ember shrugged. "Well... yeah... unless you want to come... but bringing a stranger home isn't exactly going to help our suspicion levels."

"You could wait nearby, and we'll go to you when your ready." Enyo suggested.

Demios smiled. "Great. So where is it that you two are planning to go, anyways?"

"Castle Town. To see our mother," Ember explained.

"Ah, I see. You both look like you have Hylian in you."

"We have to be quiet about it though. Our father wouldn't be too pleased if he found us creeping back into Castle Town under his nose." Enyo said.

"Understood. I assure you that I won't be seen," Demios said mischeviously, holding a finger to his lips in the 'hush' gesture.
