Ayleth listened closely, hoping to discern their speech with her pointed ears.

Ankoku said: "I am coming with you, blonde. Your skills are, frankly enough, not enough for this task, as you were humiliated by the monster in question... therefore I, who am as responsible of this mistake, shall accompany you"

Atticus saw Gwene go storming past.

"Gwene? Gwene!" he called.

Yeah?!" Gwene yelled at Ankoku. "If you weren't being so nosey, she wouldn't have been taken now, would she?!"

When she heard her name called she looked up and saw Atticus "Hey." she sighed in a frustrated tone.

"Gwene, what happened here?" Atticus said "Everyone seems very flustered." He didn't move to her, staying by Ayleth.

Ankoku nodded and said without changing expression: "I don't see your point, Blond. Now she has been taken, therefore no matter what, you need help"

He stood silent as Atticus spoke, deciding not to intrude in the conversation

Gwene ignored Ankoku, uninterested in his help, and went over to Atticus, giving Ayleth a respectful nod. "Zelda has been kidnapped." she said outright.

"And in order to follow a being that traveled through a portal, you plan to travel on foot?" Prometh scoffed as he followed the injured soldier. "You have no direction, no knowledge of the enemy, and no plan. You might as well be walking to your death!"

Deserax looked away in shame. He had been doing the same thing.

"Smooth dumb ass..." He thought.

Ankoku nodded, he shared such a view with Prometh.

Truly she is a blonde

"Do you have a magican which might track the magic down to its source?", Ankoku asked to Prometh and Gwene

"I have ways of discovering who this kidnapper is. But until the Captain sees a doctor I sha'nt say a word." Prometh proclaimed.

Ayleth stood close to Atticus, worry written all over her face. "The Princess..." she murmured, feeling awful that such a thing had happened.

"Look! I'm fine!" Gwene said sharply. "If you can find her, then find her! And quickly!" she ordered, rather harshly.

She didn't have time for fun and games.

The young boy looked at him and asked: "Is she a captain?"

Hyrule is really messed up nowadasy

(Yep. I was going to end up directing the characters over to him in a second)

"Kidnapped?!" Atticus exclaimed. "How?"

He instinctively wrapped his arm around Ayleth again, as if she was in danger.

"This... Shadey thing with a red eye came and took her." her tone a little nicer to Atticus, seeing as she knew him quite well.

Atticus put a hand on his head, and sighed.

I should of been there...I should of stopped that thing...

"Where did it go?" he said.

Gwene shrugged "It went through a portal, apparently." she paused "It got the better of me, and knocked me out cold."

Ayleth continued to think about what had happened. Monsters running rampant in Castle Town? The Princess being kidnapped? It was a lot for the woman to take in.

Fortuna walked towards the tent the Whispering Man was said to reside in. She was told to come here, along with her constant companion, Demios Asai.

She tapped thrice on the entrance, hoping it sufficed as a knock.

"...come in..."

"...right..." Atticus said slowly. "...right."

Do something about this...you have to...but Ayleth...

"...I assume your going after it, then?" he said.

"Damn right I am." Gwene said as if it were obvious. "I'm not letting that thing get away with kidnapping Zelda, if I find whoever is responsible, their blood will be coated upon my blade." she said, clenching her fists tightly.

Atticus didn't seem to fazed about the violent imagery, but he threw her a look about it, presumably because Ayleth was there.

"...well, we need to think about this then. Find a way to track him down first rather than just running off blindly." Atticus said. "...Ayelth, would you mind if Gwene came back to the house so we can discuss this in a more private manor?"

Gwene sighed calming down, but the only one she was angry at the most was herself, how could she be taken apart as simply as had happened to her.

Ankoku mused in his mind how much the blonde reminded him of his mother. Although he was fearful he would have been cut off the mission in case.... unless.....

"I might know how to find her", he whispered inwardly
