The Forge

Ayleth nodded her consent, squeezing Atticus' arm a bit more tightly.

He's going to help them... I can't stop him, but... I don't want to see him hurt...

The two Gerudo teens entered the tent, and looked around curiously.

"Hello?" Fortuna asked. "We've come to you for some help, or whatever it is that you do."

Atticus smiled at her, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He could see how shy she was around Gwene; for good reason, providing what she had said.

"Come with us." Atticus said, walking in back down the street.

Gwene nodded and walked with them.

((Fortuna and Demios? ._.))

"...take a card..." the Whispering Man said without looking up at them. His deck of cards were sitting in front of him.

Ayleth was slightly reassured by Atticus' light kiss, and sighed. Maybe she was overreacting...

Fortuna went first. She pulled a card from the very end of the deck, and brought it closer to inspect.

"...the Light In The Darkness..." the Whispering Man said. "An individual with a dark heritage; ties into evil through family, but has managed to shed away the darkness that surrounds your family...as have many before...working for the light, as your ancestors have before you."

Atticus led them to the house, and opened the door.

As they walked in, he turned to her.

"I promise everything will be okay." he said, sensing her unease. He put his hands on her shoulders.

Gwene took a seat and exhaled deeply, she had finally calmed down "I must apologise for the way I was acting before, it was unprofessional and I let my anger get the better of me."

Fortuna considered his words, stepping back and allowing herself to mull over them.

Demios stepped forward next. "You want me to take one too, right?"

"I know it will be," Ayleth told him, giving him a quick kiss before she turned to Gwene. "It's quite alright," she said in a louder, more confident voice. "Would you like some tea, Miss Gwene?"

"Yes please." Gwene smiled "That would be lovely."

(Has Ankoku followed them?)

Ayleth set the teakettle over the fire, and sat down beside it. "It'll help calm the nerves, which we all need. Then, we can think."

(Shit. Well, I want him to be there for this)

Atticus poked his head out of the house, and saw the boy from earlier. He had seen him with Gwene.

"Hello?!" he called down the street to him. "You, with the staff."

(Okay)

Ankoku turned and pointed at himself in a questioning look

Atticus nodded at him. "Come here, I want to talk to you."

"As thy bidding command", he said with a bow, despite his creepy monotone, and going inside the house with his passive stare, moving occasionally to stare at every detail

Atticus shut the door, and gestured for the boy to sit down.

Ankoku obeyed silently looking around. The figure looked an hydbrid of sorts..... with that weird traits.... unique. Worth drawing one day

Gwene smiled once again "Thank you."

The kettle whistled, and Ayleth poured some tea for all four of them.

(Demios...? XD)

"...of course." the Whispering Man said.

Atticus walked over to Ayleth, and stood beside her.

"If you start to feel uneasy around them, just say the word." he said, rubbing small circles in the small of her back.

Demios, after some deliberation, chose a card slightly to the left.

Ayleth smiled. "I'll be alright, darling." Her ears twitched. "Have you tried your tea?" she asked.

Atticus took his tea, and took a sip from it.

"...you always did make it the best." Atticus said, relishing the taste. "It's perfect. Thank you."

"It's my mother's brew though," she said, "So you have her to thank." She looked to the guests, who she believed to be calming down.
