((Where should Prometh be?))

Now Carol laughed lightly. "i'm afraid you have me wrong, sir. I-i'm no leader!" she shook her head, as if this were some kind of joke. "really, i'd rather just blend into the backgroud and disappear". the young archer smiled sadly at the Whispering man. "thank you for the kind words though"

"You'll see...you'll see..." the Whispering Man murmured to her. He looked to Demios.

"...The Rebel Heir...the weight of enormous expectation and responsibility is to be sat on your shoulders, and although you may or may not show...your not sure if you can fit into the role that is planned out for you. So, you dapple in various criminal acts here and there; this is not surprising for your race, of course. They are small futile acts against your elders to prove to them you are not cut out for the role. But, you can't stop fate. You can't stop fate..."

He paused for a moment, and cocked his head.

Atticus smiled towards her, and helped take the tray over to their visitors.

"Right..." he said, sitting down with his cup.

Ankoku just took a sip while sitting, making very low noises and he gulped down the tea in a single gulp despite the considerably hot temperature.

He bowed his head as a thank you gift as a sign of thank you, his eyes shifting from left to right

"I need a detailed description of what this creature looks like." Atticus said.

Ankoku without looking at him took the notebook and started drawing a sketch of the creature, remembering the few things he could. Elongated limbs.... hooded body... big eye.... and kept until he tried to make something accurate enough. He then handed the drawing at Atticus

((Robo, where should Prometh be?))

Carol paid her thanks to the whispering man and left the tent, perhaps more lost than when she had entered. "where now?" she sighed.

(Not sure...you tell me)

Atticus took the drawing, and looked over it. He raised his eyebrows.

"...I've never seen anything quite like it." he said.

Gwene took a sip of her tea, letting its warmth flood her and calm her down, she set it down "So. What are we here to talk about?"

Ayleth kept silent, continuing to sip her tea.

Demios stared at the Whispering Man a moment longer, and then proceeded to step back.

"You know a lot of things..." he trailed off.

((Then he'll be with the others drinking tea. That's something Prometh would do.))

"Gathering intelligence on our abductor, I presume." Prometh replied as he took another sip of his tea.

"We're going to think of a sensible way of finding this creature." Atticus said, handing Ankoko his note book.

"Wouldn't it leave some kind of trail behind? Or a clue?" Ayleth offered.

"Perhaps." Prometh answered. "But if it were so careless to not cover its tracks, that may mean that it wants to be followed. In that case we might walk directly into a trap."

"I do." the Whispering Man replied simply.

"If it left a trail, it could depend what kind of creature it is...and by the looks of this sketch, its not normal." Atticus said.

"I've never seen anything like that." Gwene admitted "But for some reason, I was the only one able to land a hit on it."

(Oh, righty)

Atticus scratched his chin thoughtfully.

"...perhaps it is some form of spectral being that can manipulate the physical world." he said.

She pulled out her sword that she had thrown at the Shade, seeing if there was any blood or anything like that.

There was no blood on it at all.

"...did you attack it with this?" Atticus said, gesturing to the sword.

Gwene nodded "Yes. I drew it out and threw it at it while in pursuit, it wasn't fazed when it got hit at all and kept up its pace."

"Well at least this tells us the beast has no blood to speak of." Prometh mumbled, examining the blade.

"But one would think there would be some sort of visible excrement, if not blood then something else that is keeping the creature alive."

"Maybe he runs on gas?" Deserax spoke up. He had been with the group, but stayed quiet till now.

If it has no blood...

"I have heard of great inventors creating complex machines, ones that are capable of thinking on their own," Ayleth said slowly.

"Thanks for your advice," Demios said, giving a slight bow to the Whispering Man. He took Fortuna's hand and promptly exited the tent.

"So we have like an evil killer machine... Perfect..."
