The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued (Part 2)

"I'm fine," Konbei seethed, charging at Deserax and releasing another beam of ice waio directly at him.

"Oh I see," Nuala said. It was quite a good idea, she had to admitt. "Thank you..."

"Just wondering." Deserax shot a beam of his fire and the beams clashed in the middle.

Konbei added hellfire to the mix ran at Deserax with full speed, planning on driving his blade through his stomach.

Deserax felt like he was in a trance. All he saw was Konbei. Nothing else. He moved out of the way and slashed at Konbei horizontally.

Thei blades clashed and Konbei pushed hard against Deserax's, trying to force it back onto him.

Deserax pushed hard back. Their pushes were so strong that they didn't move from there original spots. Deserax felt his eyes flicker red for a second, but he still had one glove on. He thought he felt something, but paid it no mind.

(Verron went with Cyrus to the hot springs, and I guess they brought Lucan along because Cyrus didn't put him down. XD )

Konbei went to headbutt Deserax to weaken him and break the tie.

Deserax slamed his head into Konbei and felt blood trickle down his face. He didn't waver. "The best you got?"

Konbei went to kick Deserax away from him as he drew his other sword and stabbed it towards his chest.

Deserax used the kick to push himself back to avoid the stab. He then made a sword of fire appear in his next hand. "Two swords against two." Deserax charged Konbei once more.

Dalikos had been quiet all this time, but spoke up finally.

"I don't know about you guys, but i can literally feel the power coming off both of them." He said to whoever was watching.

Konbei disappeared at the last minute and reappeared behind Desexrax with two slash to his back.

Deserax ducked under the slashes and did a sweep kick too try and trip him and also to turn around.

Konbei threw himself at Deserax, over the sweep kick, with his fist beared for a powerful punch. With every attack he made, he could feel darkness around him and it made him fighter harder, like it was trying to help him almost.

Deserax side stepped the punch and dropped his swords. One burned up, but the other one stayed. He felt amazing! This was one of the few times he's ever felt this way. He felt his curse mark's glow intensify as if it was picking up on something and channeling it into him. Or was he just imagining it? Whatever it was, Deserax loved it. He vanished and appeared above Konbei. THis time, he didn't feel winded. He came down in a summer salt kick.

Cyrus had made it to the hot springs with Verron, with his good arm, by good he meant non broken, he removed his shirt and hit boots and slipped into the warm waters. He sighed with relief, he looked up at Verron "You should come on in, the water feels great."

Konbei dodged and blasted freezing ice energy at Deserax at full force.

Nuala grasped the hilt and pushed her energy through it. Wisps of darkness began to curl outwards from the hilt and intertwine like fibres as they locked together, forming into a blade of almost unbreakable steal.

"Wow." Gwene said in shock "I didn't know Russell could make stuff like this."

"I must say, this is quite innovative," Nuala said.

Deserax threw up a veil to stop some of the cold. That didn't stop the force part. He flew into the air but turned and landed on a tree. He used that force and pushed off the tree. He hit the ground running and grabbed his sword, then jumped up at a good speed and came down at Konbei.

"He said if it work you can keep it." Gwene commented "I'll go tell him the good news. I'll bet Konbei is still fighting with Deserax." she made her way back up Death Mountain to her godfathers forge.

"Hmm... Konbei's fighting he is? What is it this time?" Nuala said, walking with Gwene.
