The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued (Part 3)

Nuala looked at Brenz and pushed him away. "Save Konbei," she managed to say.

Konbei was pushed back by the hellfire blast. When it cleared he raised his sword and charged at Atticus with an upwards slash.

Brenz stared at the dying woman, and nodded slowly. He drew his hammer.

"...you know buddy, to tell the truth, I always thought you were a prick." he said. He ran at Konbei, swinging his hammer down at him.

(Atticus is still attacking Konbei, you know)

Konbei suddenly split into his elemental form and reformed behind Brenz instead with a stab aimed at his back.

Brenz slammed his hammer head into the floor, swung around it using the momentum, the pulled it up again, dodging the attacking in the process and leading into a deadly uppercut.

Atticus began charging a blast of shadows.

(Gotta go, sorry about the timing. Don't go to far without me...)

Ryan grinned and was impaled in the stomach but he grabbed Epyhah's hand on the grip and thrusted Daemorakk straight at Epyhah's heart with a black hellfire boost.

Deserax wanted to respect what Nuala was trying to do, but at the same time he wanted to beat the shit out of Konbei. At the moment though, he still had his head, and he slashed at Konbei's right side, and if he dodged left, was ready to grab at his throat.

Eyphah smirked sadistically yet painfully, grunting as the sword burst through his chest and out the back with blood splattering everywhere. "I guess...I can just settle with killing you...Taigo..." Eyphah uttered as he gripped his sword tight and let emerald light take over his eyes. Storm clouds gathered overhead, and a powerful green lightning bolt struck down at Eyphah and Ryan.

Daimus just continued to watch, no one had paid him any attention, but he didn't mind.

Gwene groaned as she tried to slip out of conciousness.

Ryan glanced over at Konbei and Nuala, "Shit man." he grinned as blood seeped from his mouth, "I forgot to kill Daekronos, Daimus is still around......meh, I'M GOING OUT WITH A BANG BITCHES!" He yelled in pain as the lightning struck, Samehada was gone and no where in site.

Daimus just laughed at the site of everyone around him fallling. He folded his arms and watched what would happen next.

As the lightning struck, an explosion of plasma and sand erupted beside the Mirror Chamber. Steven put up his shield for cover, and Malachi just stood and watched as the intense heat and sand washed over him.

Eyphah was nowhere to be seen, possibly vaporized by his own attack.

Ryan was laying on the ground with smoke coming off him and scorch marks all over.....

Konbei dodged Brenz and Deserax and ducked from the explosion, shielding his face with his arms.

"Gwene," Celeste said with a hand on her cheek. "Gwene, hold on, you can't die!"

Nuala looked around, dazed, and saw Ryan lying on the ground, seemingly unmoving. She tried to go over to him but the pain was too much.

Deserax could feel his curse picking up on the darkness. He wasn't just fighting Konbei, in his mind, he was resisting the darkness.

"N-Not like Konbei... Not like him..." He said in his mind. He blew off the explosion and went to kick Konbei in the face.

Gwene opened her eyes slowly, she felt up her head where the throbbing hurt most and found a deep gash and a lot of blood.

Ryan's body just lays motionless on the ground, smoke rising off him and not a single movement from the burnes.

Konbei was directly behind Dane now. Now was his chance.

He quickly stumbled to his feet and went to grab the top of Konbei's head.

"Gotcha."

Konbei was grabbed by Dane. He reached behind him, trying to flip him over his shoulder.

(Is this the end?)

Elsewhere in Hyrule, Loki looked up at the sky. "......Something bad is affoot."

(Nowhere near it.)

"Konbei..." Gwene tried to get up and go to him. Suddenly she felt very faint and, she was recieving another call from an awakening sage. She felt a little hot and found she was standing alone in a vast desert, when she came back to her senses she could feel a new sage had awakened, and they were in this chamber.

Ryan gave out a raspy cough, "Shit....that.....hurt....like a bitch...." he coughed some more.

Verron, after returning the thing-y to it's brat owner, had found her way back to Cyrus. Absently, she wondered where everyone had gone.

Cyrus had made his way back to the hot springs to heal his arm some more. He spotted Verron return "So. How did it go?"

(I so know who the sage is. I'm confident in my guess.)

Deserax jumped back, letting Dane do what he was trying to do.

It was too late for Konbei to strike back. His vision quickly faded to white, putting him in an empty world with only a voice to accompany him.
