Gwene of Lanayru:Heal My Wounds by Poets of the Fall.
Before anyone else asks, I did not steal the name from Hillsy. Sawyer and I came up with the name of Dane's mother a long time before I ever posted in the forum. Gwene of Lanayru is a highly educated, socially proper, and machiavellian woman of the Gentry. She dreams of becoming a noble, but knows that she does not have the standing to acheive her dream on her own. That is why she raises Dane like a noble; so that he can one day found his own House by gaining the King's favor. She lives vicariously through him, much like those crazy mothers that enter their toddlers in beauty pageants.
The song is about the singer sacrificing everything he has; just so the listener can follow his dream. It is only at the end of the song that the true reason for the singer's sacrifice is revealed: this was never about the listener's dream, but the singer's. The singer cannot accomplish what he wanted, so he urges the listener to accomplish it for him; while insisting that the listener only wants this for himself. In this situation, Gwene is the singer and Dane is the listener. The wounds she wants healed are the reality of her place in life; she thinks she deserves to be nobility, and finds the fact that the King does not acknowledge her as one is the greatest insult she has ever recieved. So now, it is up to Dane to heal her wounds.
The sorrowful viola in the pieces describe how Eyphah turned his back on the Gurinfaita. The Arabic-like qualities in the songs relate Eyphah and his relations to the Gerudo.

Lucan:Upside Down by Jack Johnson
It's a happy and upbeat song about discovering new things every day. It was made famous by the Curious George movie that came out about five years ago.
The song is about the singer wondering that after everything he has done, if there will ever be any form of salvation for him. It can be seen that the singer is hopeful that if he tries to repair the damage he has caused, he might some day be happy himself.

Evil Konbei:
I don't think I really need to give an explanation, the lyrics are pretty much perfect.

Aria's Theme:
It's strangely fitting. Once you get to the actual song. ^^

The Nobis (Nympha-florum):The Well-Lit Room by Petri Alanko
When I was first coming up with the Nobis I wanted to express one trait about them: they have a sense of grace and peace about them, almost like angels. This song from the video game Alan Wake fits that description incredibly well, in my opinion.

Johnassen:
I chose this for Johnassen. Reasoning? Anthony's singing represents a younger Johnassen (who's in love with Amira) and then Sweeney's singing represents an older Johnassen, who never got much time with his daughter because of the same damn woman...

It isn't a video created by me, it's just violin music that I found rather epic.

Me too, back in 5th grade. I started out on cello, but didn't like it the first two minutes playing it. Then I played viola for a while, and did violin as well.
I was good at both instruments, but then I quit for some dumb reason after the year was over. I'm trying out guitar now. ====
