The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued (Part 4)

Nayru jumped down the ledge, walking across the room to the other staircase, keeping an eye on everything.

Gwene followed closely.

Galenus had slipped down the staircase and followed.

Konbei took his place beside Gwene again while Nuala and Celeste followed as well.

Gwene smiled and held Konbei's hand, she loved the fact he cared about her so much.

Deserax slowly made his way back to the group. Though, he thought the stairs he was walking on would crumble at the slightest wrong movement.

The group made it to the door that would take them up, unfortunately, it was blocked by a big boulder.

"Wait, I've got this..." Konbei said and walked up to the boulder. He pressed his weight against it and pushed as hard as he could. Thanks to the gauntlets, it slowly began to move and was soon out of their way.

(so sorry i havent posted here for a while >.< are the redeads still attacking? i lost my place)

Gwene watched as Konbei moved the giant boulder "Wow, they really do work."

Nayru proceeded through the door up the staircase to the second room, she gently crossed over the gaps in the floor to the next room.

Galenus followed.

Konbei felt pretty pleased with himself after moving the boulder and followed Nuala and Celeste across the gaps in the floor.

Nayru took the door to the right, the bars covering the door had rusted off, so going through wasn't a problem, she entered the door at the top of the stairs and let everyone enter.

Konbei saw another Iron Knuckle in the room. "Another one of these guys, huh," he said and drew his sword so he was ready in case it sprung to life.

"It seems so." Nayru said. Galenus and Gwene were the last two to enter, and when they did, the door slammed shut and was covered in iron bars.

The Iron Knuckle remained motionless in its throne.

"Once again, the heroes rise to stop judgement. When will this cycle end?" a dark and robotic voice broke the silence.

Nayru looked around "Show yourself."

Celeste's eyes widened when she heard the voice and she put her hand on the hilt of her weapon.

A dark and brooding, and somewhat synthetic looking man stepped out from behind the throne. He wore black armor with a torn and tattered tasset flowing behind him as he walked. It also appeared that he was wearing some sort of breathing apparatus, which altered his voice. The dark man came to a stop.

He remained silent for a moment before speaking again. "I believe, that this cycle...the endless fight between good and evil...is finally coming to a glorious end." the dark man said as he turned his head slightly, just to show his gray right eye as he looked at Nayru and the others. "Not even you Goddesses can stop this judgement, the judgement of order itself..."

Galenus want to draw his sword and attack, but was stopped by an arm blocking his way. It was Nayru's. "Let me deal with this abomination of nature."

She clasped her hands together, a faint blue light could be seen from between them, she pulled them apart and in a flash a sword with a blue hilt. She took ahold of it and held it at the ready.

"....."

The dark man turned around all the way, now fully facing Nayru. It appeared that his left eye was all black except for the red pupil in the middle, which flashed with an ominous glow. Black crack-like scars were spread across his left cheek. They seemed to begin at his black eye. "Judgement must be brought down upon Hyrule. If you think that you can stop it, then you are terribly wrong." he said as faced the Iron Knuckle.

"Your journey ends here!" the man rose his voice. Suddenly, his red pupil flashes and a red triangle appeared inside. The Iron Knuckle began to shake violently as dark energy in the form of black flames consumed it. The man turned around, looking at Nayru one last time before vanishing without a trace...

The Iron Knuckle rose from its throne as the black flames twisted and wrapped around it. Its body was undergoing a dramatic change. Its golden armor became a sleek black, and its joints were unexistent now. The pieces of armor were just floating mere inches from where they should be connected. The black flames created two more arms for the Iron Knuckle. Finally, the black flames crawled into the armor and filled it with life.

The new dark creature let out a metallic growl as it slowly grabbed its floating axe, which changed at the touch. It became black with silver edges. Two black scythes appeared in each of its extra hands.

MINIBOSS: EBONY KNUCKLE

The Ebony Knuckle growled as it moved forth with its axe held to its face.

(i still can't find it! TT_TT i'm just going to write something vague and hope someone jumps in)

Verron wiped her dagger on a bunch of weeds to clean off most of the redead guts. "absolutely disgusting..." she spat

The dead hand moved to Verron and looked down at her, it made a heavy lunge to take a bite out of her.

Nayru held her sword tightly, seeing what the Ebony Knuckle would do.

Verron looked up with a curse, and rolled out of the way quickly. She stood and dove towards the monster, dagger fist.

The dagger plunged into it, it seemed unaffected. It lifted its head and went to advance on Verron, unknowing to her, more dead hands rose behind her and went to grab her wrists and ankles.

The Ebony Knuckle advanced on Nayru and did a sudden swing with its axe.

The hands grabbed her and held her tight. Verron kicked and stuggled to free herself, but to no avail.
