The Legend of Zelda: The Sacred Dragons

Konbei shrugged. "Good enough," he said.

"Good, then we should head to the city as soon as possible." Gwene said, she turned to face Link "If there is anything else you need to do, we'll meet you at the road to the city."

Link nodded in understanding, he stood up and left the home.

Meri remained lying down comfortably on top of Link's hat, her tail swishing idly behind her as he turned and began to walk off.

"Y'know," she said with a smile as he ventured further away from the others, "I think my brothers would like your friends. They can be a bit stubborn, but they at least know good people when they see 'em."

Curious, she tilted her head off Link's head, looking in his eyes upside-down.

"You DO know about my brothers, don't you?"

Link shook his head, he didn't know of any of the dragons except for Meridiem, he didn't even know their names and how they came to be.

"Then here's a little history lesson," Meri giggled, looking back and once more sitting comfortably on Link's hat.

"After the goddesses created Hyrule, they left for the heavens- but one god remained. Vita, the Great Dragon of Life, created this land and all of its wonders. However, some five hundred years after its creation, a great and evil sorceress attempted to take Vita's power for her own. Vita gave her life to fight against and defeat the evil sorceress, locking her power inside the Temple of Dragons." She paused for a moment before smiling, continuing, "Afterwards, four of Vita's children rose to help rebuild the land that had been ruined by the great battle. Me and my four brothers- Aquilon, Orient, and Occident- used the powers granted to us by our mother dragon to protect the world. When we were done..." She looked up to the sky. "We each went to our respective temples, and slept."

Link listen intently, and with great interest. So the evil sorceress that had attack the Dragon of Life, Vita, then that must mean that Orla was the descendant of the evil sorceress in the past, and she wanted to use Vita's power to take over the world, but then how could Orla do that?

He continued to think, until he thought he had come up with a plausable explanation. Orla must want to get into the temple and unlock Vita's power, and her ancestor's, and if that should happen... Link put his thoughts aside and made to work out a game plan about how he could stop Orla.

Meri smiled, reading Link's thoughts.

"Don't worry," she said, playfully batting the end of Link's hat. "Once we wake up my brothers, the four of us with our combined powers will be more than enough to conquer Orla."

Link nodded in understanding, his thoughts then wandered to Zelda, he truly hoped she was safe and wanted to see her again.

Konbei waited on the road for Link.

Gwene read over the map of Vita. "According to this, there is a Gerudo Village here, I thought the Gerudo race had all died out, but they must have just migrated North to here."

Steven approached the others in lighter armor, and only armed with a silver shortsword and a fancy-looking bow.

Gwene was still looking over the map "From what Soothe has told me, the Gerudo Village is inhabitted by Gerudo woman, but they are welcoming and nicer than what they used to be." she folded up the map and tucked it away.

Link had finished all he needed doing and walked back up to the group, he was ready to move on.
