The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued

Konbei crossed his blade and let Eyphah's slide between them as he raised his arms to distance the blade from his body.

Eyphah growled and leapt back. He threw his sword at full speed towards Konbei.

When Eyphah threw his sword, Deserax saw an opportunity. He dashed behind him and swung at his back.

"wha? what are you doing? I didn't ask to be prot-" she saw the fighting intensify.

"SHIT! NOW I'M ASKING!!!" she ducked behind Cyrus. The first person to give a rat's-ass about her in years, was now her human sheild. great. just great.

Cyrus wrapped an arm around her to further protect her. "Come on, I'm getting you out of here." he started to lead Verron away.

Lucan entered the fray, trying to put the greatsword wielder offbalance with a powerful wind.

Eyphah heard Deserax come from behind. He ducked before frontflipping away and landing on a rock.

Deserax fired a few fire balls, being careful not to hist Lucan.

Eyphah jumped and ran from the fireballs. He telekinetically called his sword back and ducked one more fireball which singed his left gauntlet. He vanished and reappeared next to Deserax with a swing to the side.

Deserax shot out his hand, opened palm to cause a fire ring to surround Eyphah. He closed his hand, hoping to burn him.

Verron allowed herself to be lead.

Konbei hurled blasts of ice waio at Eyphah, but they were weakened by Deserax's fire. "Dammit, Deserax!" Konbei shouted.

Cyrus had lead her away from the battle and was beginning to make their way down the trail, suddenly from the sky, a giant black dragon landed and blocked their way, they were trapped.

The dragon reared its two heads, one firey red and the other icey white, it looked down at the two, ready to strike.

Cyrus once again pushed Verron behind himself.

"Think smart one!" Deserax shouted to Konbei.

Lucan added to the mess by accidentally hurling a gust at the enemy, further weakening the other two attacks.

Eyphah braced himself for the burning ring. He grunted, and out of great willpower plus unintended aid from enemies, he broke free after having his arms partially charred. Eyphah vanished and reappeared above Konbei with a jump strike.

(I haven't gotten anything yet.)

Galenus noticed the dragon, noticing this battle was under control, he went to attack the dragon.

Deserax waited again for a better time to strike.

The flower nymph was getting angry now. None of his attacks were working! He threw a sharp wind at the striking enemy, hoping it would cut him like a sword.

Konbei used one blade to deliver a backhanded slash at Eyphah as he came towards him.

Eyphah was hit by both gashing attacks. He landed on his feet, unaffected by his injuries. He glanced at all of his opponents, seeing which one he should hit next.

That damn flower nymph would hit him in the back each time he would try to strike...

Eyphah vanished and reappeared behind Lucan with a swing of his sword.

"Lucan!" Celeste shrieked and drew her sword. She darted forwards and with a two-hand hold on her blade, sliced at Eyphah's arm.

Brenz looked at him. "What?"

Ryan grabbed Daemorakk by the handle and could feel a demonic aura trying to take over or repel him, with a swift blast of mental and waio power he subjugated the sword under his control and lift it up at his eyes. "Your not the only sword that tried to take over my mind." he muttered to Daemorakk.

Lucan had no idea his enemy was so fast! If Celeste had not been there to distract Eyphah, he would have certainly been killed. The Nympha-florum charged a ball of condensed wind and threw it at his enemy.
