The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued (Part 2)

Deserax held the pulse with one hand and used the other to send a smaller pulse to the Ice head.

Ran at Epyhah while getting cut up in the process, He sprinted at a fast pace and stabbed Daemorrak and Samehada relentlessly at Epyhah.

The fire dragon stopped its stream of fire, the pulse continued and didn't faze the fire head in the slightest, however it cleanly cleaved through the head of the ice dragon.

"Yeah!" Deserax cheered. He looked to the fire head and realized that could prove a challenge.

Eyphah precisely blocked with his enchanted forearm guards at an insane speed. He had been training for centuries, studying Ryan's fighting style, and figuring out ways to bring his demise. After a couple more strikes, Eyphah leapt back and commanded his idle sword segments to rejoin into his sword.

"I've spent countless years preparing for this, Taigo."

He held it skyward, causing it to glow with an ominous green aura. Green lightning bolts began to shoot down from incoming clouds at Ryan.

However, within seconds, new ice formed and the ice dragon head was back to it original state before the attack.

The dragon then sent its spear like tail speeding at Deserax, followed by a thick mist from the ice dragon, fogging the area and peoples sights.

Cyrus had found his way over to Verron, he held out his good arm "Come one, they have it distracted, let's get out of here."

Deserax rolled to the left, narrowly avoiding the spear tail, for he could feel the wind rush past it.

"Great. Blindness. Perfect thing to have when fighting something this huge!"

Lucan had caught his breath and was ready to reenter the fray. When he saw the mist come down upon the others, he feared the fog would blind them from the dragon, so he threw a wind to blow the fog away.

Ryan was hit and went skipping across the lake literally and hit the wall, he sank beneath the water until the bubbles stopped. Somewhere behind Epyhah a shark fin emerged out and out leaped Ryan with Daemorakk, he looked like a shark out of water with legs, landed behind Epyhah knowing there was no element of surprise and just went attacking Epyhah like a berserker.

"CHICKEN SHIT!" the insult cut like a knife. "hit the nail on the head, kid" she muttered to herself, ashamed of her own cowadice. SHe used to argue that running was simply self preservation, but now it sounded shallow and pathetic. Here she was, a full grown woman hiding in a crack in a mountain like a weakling. Outside, she could hear the others' shouts and the sounds of the dragon.

Then Cyrus was with her, offering his arm. She started to move, but froze in a sudden grip of fear. "I-I cant. I just-" she clutched her shaking shoulders.

Eyphah stood no chance as he turned around to face Ryan, taking all the attacks with each of Daemorakk's strikes causing him extreme pain. He was back up against a wall, heavily injured and breathing heavily.

As a last effort, Eyphah threw his sword like a speeding arrow straight at Ryan.

(He's up against a wall, so you know how this is going to end for Eyphah...)

the sword peirced his stomach, missing vital organs, Ryan Pierce his hand into Epyhah's chest to take out the heart, if there is one, and swung Daemorakk at Epyhah's head to cut it off.

"Please. Take my hand, I promise you, I'll protect you." Cyrus meant what he said, even if it cost him his life.

Gwene suddenly felt very faint, she collapsed onto her rear, the world around them was spinning, suddenly, she felt very hot and and to her she appeared to be surrounded by a ring of fire. Then she was back to her normal self, the Fire Sage was awakening and they were close by, very close.

"Nice job Lucan! Thanks for the wind!" Deserax was grateful, but was still wondering how to take them out. They would just pop another head. He tried a few small fireballs at the ice head, then a pulse at it.

Eyphah's headless body slid into a sitting position, now completely motionless.

It didn't feel like it was over...

Konbei had a good idea of where the dragon's body was through the fog and leapt forward to sink his blades into it.

"GO BACK TO HELL WHERE YOU BELONG!" Ryan yelled half in pain as he slammed Daemorakk into the body of Epyhah.

Eyphah's body didn't respond to the strike. It remained motionless.

(Lucan got rid of the fog, Tango.)

The ice dragon guided its tail to impact with Konbei and knock him away.

Gwene started to search for the Fire Sage, she had already taken the Fire Medallion from Konbei.

"Dalikos! care to help?" Deserax shouted. Dalikos nodded and drew his sword. He slashed and a sharp blade of water sped for the fire head.

Verron held his hand in hers, calming down. "okay..." her voice grew deep and serious. "let's end this thing." As soon as the words left her lips, she felt something unlock as flames licked her body. Power surged through her blood, making her breath in sharply. What's going on?!

Gwene felt the surge, she looked over at Verron. She was the awakened Fire Sage. "Hey! Catch!" she yelled at Verron and chucked the Fire Medallion to her.

Ryan growled, "I want to see your body get dragged to hell but I guess it's too much to ask." he spat and walked back and stumbled onto his ass and coughed, he pulled the sword out of his stomach with great pain and threw it into the the body of Epyhah against the wall.

"Stay in hell and suffer for your hunger for power." he growled once more and flopped onto his back on the ground with Samehada splitting off him and healing his stomach wound.

As Ryan left, Eyphah's hand twitched...
