Gwene blushed "Sorry..." she found herself apologising for no apparent reason. She didn't know what Konbei saw in her, she was a straight A student, and wasn't overly athletic.

"Don't apologise, harden up and do something about it. One way or another you will be asking him out tonight," Nuala said.

College. Fun time in your life. Most likely the funnest years of your life. Sadly, Deserax wasn't feeling the fun, because he staggered back to his dorm room, groaning. He shut the door, and dropped his book bag, and books on the table right next to the door, and flopped onto his couch/bed.

"Take vet college they said. Only eight years..."

Ankoku had already gone there, an happy smile on his lips as he was looking at the sky

"There you are moon - ANkoku said with a smile, looking up with a smile - such a wonderful day to start the unique learning experience college is, don't you think? I mean, all of this to make us better people and active members of the great Society the Hyrule kingdom is and offers us in our humbless"

"...also, I do admit I am kind of proud to have preceeded you here", he admitted sitting on the stairs leading at the entrance of the building, looking at the wonderful full moon in happiness. Skipping sleep was worth it

Konbei was in the change room getting his head in the right place for a game, but was finding difficult when all he could think about was Gwene.

He hoped she was coming to watch them tonight; it would give him the chance to ask her to the party tomorrow night.

"Hey." Sergius said, slapping Konbei across the back and sitting down on the bench beside him, fully kitted and ready to go "Something on your mind?"

"Just the game," Konbei said, half telling the truth.

Sergius knew exactly what was on Konbei's mind, having spoken with Nuala about it many times "Come on bud, we win tonight, no way she is going to say no. Focus on that and we'll dominate."

"No pressure, right?" Konbei said as he stood up and pulled his jersey on.

"It all just adds to the fun." Sergius said, he left to meet up with the rest of he team for the talk with the coach.

Konbei walked after him, eager to get onto the pitch and into the game.

Sergius had walked past the huddle out to the referee for the toss, to see whether they would kick or receive.

Rausten, the coach of the football team, had the rest of his team in a huddle "Alright, semi final time. We win this, final next week." he paused "You guys have come a long way and I'm very proud of what you have accomplished. An undefeated season, let's keep it going all the way."

Gwene and Nuala entered the stadium and sat in the stands, not realising what she was doing, she waved at the team, hoping Konbei would see her.

Konbei pushed into the huddle and took in what Rausten was saying. They had to win this, losing just wasn't an option.

Nuala grabbed Gwene's hand to stop her waving. "Are you trying to look desperate?" She said sarcastically.

Rausten had said what he needed to say, he left and Sergius took his place "We lost the toss and we are receiving." he looked at Konbei and gave a nod over his shoulder to a waving Gwene. "So. Defence and run, get it up got he 50 yard line and will give us a good opportunity to attack and get some points on the board. So, let's win this and go to the finals next week." he put his hand in he middle, all the team put their hands in and placed them on Sergius'

Konbei looked up and saw Gwene. He gave her a wave and suddenly felt pumped up and rearing to go.

Gwene sat down with a smile on her face, she looked at Nuala and turned red slightly.

Nuala rolled her eyes slightly at Gwene. "Oh my god..." she muttered.

Gwene just avoided Nuala's eye contact and looked down at the game.

The semi final was drawing to a close, there was 1 minute left on the clock and the Hylian Knights (Hyrule University's football team.) were down by 2 points, they needed to make a touchdown and claim the win. They had the ball and were on 4th and touch, meaning they could force the game into overtime witha fieldgoal, or go for the win.

Sergius pulled everyone into a huddle. "Alright, final play. I say we go for the win and go to the final next week. We'll take a field goal fake, Konbei, while we have them distracted, you run up the wing and get in touch, Galenus, you on the right. I'll fake to Galenus and pass to Konbei. I could switch it up if I am put into pressure so be ready for that. Ready. Break!"

"BREAK!" could be heard from the huddle and the team got into position.

Gwene watched from the stands with great interest. "Looks like they are going for a field goal. Force the game into overtime."

Konbei ran up the wing, keeping his eye on Sergius and the opponent.

"You actually know what's going on?" Nuala said, a little surprised as she watched Sergius.

The team had taken the position froma field goal, the net was being raised behind the bars ready. The opposing team had taken a defensive position, ready for what might come their way. The cheering from the crowd all around them was rather loud and Sergius had to yell. "GREEN 22. GREEN 22. HUT!" the ball was thrown back to him and he held it ready for a kick from the kicker, as the kicker ran up for the kick Sergius quickly changed his ploy and looked up over at Galenus, who had run up the right wing and was in touch. The defensive players saw this and some went to block Galenus from the attack, oblivious to the other on the left.

Konbei kept running up left, he had everyone in his sights and was anticipating their movements. He was prepared for what was coming next.

Sergius fake passed to Galenus and turned his attention to Konbei, the opposing players, realising it was a fake and they had fallen into the trap, stopped and watched what happened, however one of the opposing players noticed Konbei and went to defend against him.

Sergius had thrown the ball at Konbei, realising he had thrown it a little too high.

Gwene had risen to her feet and was watching, her eyes almost popping out of her head.

The whole stadium seemed to go quiet, watching the final play.

Konbei saw the guy coming towards him and leapt for the ball. He caught it close to his body but was tackled by his opponent and pushed out of bounds, but not before slamming the ball down only inches inside the touch line.

The crowd erupted and Nuala turned to Gwene with an impressed expression on her face. "Looks like your boy is the match hero."
