The sideline referee signalled a touchdown, just as the hooter sounded, Signalling the end of the game. The entire team ran to Konbei in celebration of their win and advancing to the finals.

Gwene was on her feet, jumping for joy and squealing with delight.

Nuala was on her feet and clapping also. "Come on," she said to Gwene, nudging her out of the aisle so they could go down closer to the field.

Gwene nodded and followed Nuala, as did most of the crowd.

Sergius had lifted Konbei onto his shoulders and held him up over the crowd for the whole stadium to see, showing that he was the hero of the Hylian Knights this evening and because of him, he was putting them through to the final next week against the Great Bay Packers.

Konbei's grin couldn't get any wider if he tried, especially when he saw Gwene heading down the stands.

Gwene stood at the edge of the crowd, she gave him a wave and a beaming smile.

Konbei got down from Sergius' shoulders and pushed through the team to go and see Gwene.

"Hey," he said and gave her a quick hug. "Glad ya came."

Gwene blushed a little when Konbei hugged her "Hey. I wouldn't miss it for the world, although I almost did."

"Yeah, I wanted to ask you something," Konbei said.

Nuala stood off to the side watching them closely, ready to intervene if either of them backed out.

"Yeah?" Gwene asked, her blush fading a little "Me too, but you go first."

"You should come with me to that party to tomorrow," Konbei said surprisingly confidently.

"Really?" Gwene answered surprised. "Um, sure. I'd love to." she gave him another bright smile.

"Sweet," Konbei said. "What did you wanna ask me?"

"She was gonna ask you the same thing," Nuala interjected.

Gwene was about to answer when Nuala answered for her. She felt a little redder "Well, seeing as you have finished your game, you want to go out somewhere and get something to eat?"

"Yeah, I'm starved," Konbei said.

Sergius had walked on over and had put a hand around Nuala's waist and rest his hand on her hip "So, you finally asked her out, huh?"

Akise hated and loved college, simply put. He didn't have to deal with people if he didn't want to, which he didn't- Yet, he was also forced to. It was confusing, to say the least, but he couldn't determine if he minded or not. His classes were scattered, varied, and he took them at times when there would be the least amount of people about- Early morning or late night. He wasn't even studying for anything specific- Maybe some useless degree in English, considering that's what the majority of his classes were pushing him towards. He had been told it was useless, that no one was going to hire him due to it because it meant little, but he hardly cared and didn't listen. He didn't even plan to do anything with English- He wanted to be a detective. He would never say it out loud, but that's always been his life's dream. He needed a law degree for that though, didn't he?

Sighing softly to himself, currently alone in his room, he shrugged it off. He'd only been at the school a few months, a freshman, and he had enough time to veer towards a different course any time he wanted. He just hoped it would be that easy.

The door opened and closed, and Akise huddled up in the corner of his bed, disdainfully looking at the ground to avoid eye contact. The one thing he hated most- Dorms. And roommates. He had never felt like speaking to Deserax, which he had gathered his name was, but he knew enough about him that he seemed like a fine guy. But that was just the thing.. It didn't matter to Akise. He didn't care.

"Yeah," Konbei shrugged like it was nothing despite his stressing over it earlier.

Nuala hugged Sergius' waist and gave him a kiss. "God you look good in your kit," she smiled. "And you played great."

Sergius returned Nuala's kiss, he looked to Gwene "Yep, he played a great game. Thinking about you the entire time, weren't ya buddy?" he gave Konbei a wink and a nod, hoping to earn him some more brownie points.

"How else could I play that well?" Konbei said and glanced at Gwene with a smile.

Gwene had turned bright red "Come on guys. You're embarrassing me." she gave Konbei a rare smile that only few had seen, a mixture of flattery, admirance and happiness. "But thank you."

Sergius grinned "Well then. I thinks it's high time we celebrated, over an amazing victory."

"My shout," Nuala said. "Where do you wanna go."

Ankoku had been part of the team. Not out of the fact he liked something... it's just that, as long as it was a club, Ankoku joined it. Also, football club was worth skipping breakfast and dinner.

THis said, Ankoku was not a good player. When he played football, he was too... nice. He let people walk over him. Literally. Indipendently on the team. He simply thought it was unfair that people's effort could have been stopped so badly, so he always them in. Luckily, as much as Ankoku was bad, Konbei was better.

Shini in the meanwhile had looked at the game ashamed and then was asked.

"Excuse me, ma'am, am I wrong or is your son of the Hyrule team?"

"Yes - Shini said - he is... the one over there"

"The black guy?", the man asked confused

Shini nodded. No way she was going to say Ankoku was her son. Just no.

Once he had finished, Ankoku had sat down the corner, put on his usual outfit, took his books in the outfit and started reading.

Indeed, Ankoku was what could be called....a nerd. Always, always studying and rarely speaking to others or doing much else. Sometimes he went and joined clubs. He never explained why he did them. Mostly because he was never asked

"Surprise me." Sergius said "You know I love em'."

"Hey Sergius..." Konbei said and nodded over at Ankoku. "What the hell is his deal?"

Sergius shrugged, walking back to the changing rooms with Konbei, leaving Gwene and Nuala to go and wait for them "Don't know. He was decent at the start of the season, but just got worse over time. He's too..... soft."

Gwene watched them walk away, she gave a sigh of relief and looked at Nuala, for her impression of it all.

Rausten tapped Ankoku's shoulder "When you have spare time Monday, come in to my office. We need to have a talk."

When he wasn't coaching the football team, he ran the student gym on campus.
