The Mad King of Hyrule

The good King of Hyrule has passed away, leaving the throne open to the next successor. Unfortunately, Princess Zelda is not able to take the throne due to her marital status. So the throne was passed on to the kings younger brother, Rotholia.

Unfortunately, Rotholia, is a mad and cruel leader and has lead Hyrule into an age of despair. The citizens have tried to leave, but due to new laws passed they are not able to, those that have tried to have been killed, even the woman and children. The soldiers have been worked into the ground and are all but exhausted to even lift a finger.

There is one thing that the Mad King hates with a passion, races different to Hylians.

Gwene sat against a tree in the forest, looking over her long sword.

She had been branded a traitor to Hyrule and a price of 10,000 rupees put on her head. She had been forced to leave everything she knew behind and go into hiding. 

Konbei was practically going insane searching for Gwene, he wouldn't let her just leave like this. He would do anything and everything to bring her back and fight off anyone who tried to stop him.

Gwene sighed, it was time for her to move on, she never stayed in the same place twice.

She stood up and made to leave.

Konbei thought he saw Gwene through the trees. "Gwene!" He called out and ran after her, thinking she had come back.

Gwene quickly slipped behind a tree when she heard her name called, her long sword pulled tightly to her chest, it was possible it was another bounty hunter, but she knew the voice.

She hadn't heard it in almost three months with her being on the run a lot, she decided to take a chance. "Konbei?" she half called half yelled.

"Gwene..." Konbei said as he caught up to her. "Are you back?"

Gwene knew it was Konbei, she put her sword away and emerged from behind her hiding spot. "I am."

Konbei let out a massive sigh of relief and, without saying anything, pulled her into a tight hug.

Gwene wrapped her arms around him "Oh my goodness, I missed you so much."

"You should've let me come with you," Konbei said quietly.

Brenz stood in the centre of the courtyard, where most of the Hyrule Castle guards trained. Brenz wasn't one for using wooden swrods the such for training. He was using his fists as he beat one of teh wooden dummies into submission.

It helped quite a lot when he pictured the kings face on the dummies. It was a shame it wasn't actually him.

"I couldn't." Gwene replied "You have too much here, and I couldn't seperate you from that."

Inside a his usaul bar, Ryan looked down at the paper of the current king and the price to kill him. "Yeah, 50,000 is definitly good eneough, take his head off and present it to the client." he grinned.

"Who cares," Konbei scoffed. "It's too dangerous for you to be back here, let's just leave, I'll go with you..."

"No! I......" Gwene paused "I... I can't ask you to leave your family behind. You have something worth staying for, I......"

Ryan left his booth and head over to the back, he went around into the employee work area and opened a door behind a shelf of wine. The storage was payed for, inside was his less important weapons and his equipment. Picking up his things Ryan left the employee work area and left the bar, he looked towards the castle and headed towards his next prize.

"Yeah, I have something worth going for too..." Konbei said almost as though she were stupid. "My parents and Celeste can look after themselves, you know that..."

"Yes, but...." Gwene gave up defeated "Oh Konbei." she kissed him hard on the lips.

Konbei rested his arms around the small of her back, balling her top into his fists. "We should go then," Konbei said.

Ryan leaped over onto a couple crate and onto a roof, he took in the surrounds and the castle he has his site set on. "Okay, now to figure out how to go about doing this."

Gwene continued to hold him tightly, her face mere inches from his "I do want to pay Nuala and Celeste a visit though, maybe we could stay there the night." Gwene laughed "I haven't slept in a bed in a long time."

(Permission to sneak a way into the castle to try an attempt on the king's life?)

(Bit early on in the story isn't it?)

(It's only Ryan so it'd be sending him to either prison or a stage of exicution.)
