Name: The Legend of Zelda: The Sacred Dragons

Backstory: Upon the successful creation of the land of Hyrule, the goddesses took their leave, but another deity existed, one of the land, rising from the earth that was created, a mystical dragon rose. Breathing onto the land like a licking flame, life grew, the woodiest of forest’s , the greenest of grasses, and the deadliest of deserts. Those that took refuge gave the dragon a name they hold dear to their hearts, Vita, the Dragon of Life.

For the next 500 years, the land was seen through a golden age, thanks to the mystical Dragon of Life, the oceans provided the freshest of fishes, whilst the land provided the juiciest and healthiest of fruits and vegetables. However, there was one, one who wished to take this power for their own, an evil sorceress with an unending lust for more power. Hoping to take the dragons power for her own, she attack the land relentlessly, drawing the dragon out. The two fought with unknown powers, leaving a wrecked trail across the land, their final stand lead them to the largest city of the land, in a moment of advantageous proportions, the Ancient Dragon sealed the Sorceress’ powers deep inside the Temple of Dragons, and defeated the sorceress.

However, the power could not be sealed properly, in a final attempt to rid the land of the evil plaguing it, the Ancient Dragon gave its life to rectify the seal, and properly seal the sorceress’ power deep inside the Temple of Dragons, behind a sealed door with an equally powerful seal.

In the aftermath, four new dragons rose from the earth, the offspring of the Ancient Dragon. After helping the land back to its former glory, the dragons took their leave, one flew north, another south, and the final two east and west. A shrine in each of the regions was built in their honour and there they have lived in worship and uninterrupted sleep.

Plot: A letter addressed to the Princess of Hyrule has arrived at the Castle of Hyrule.

Dear The Crown Princess of Hyrule

I am writing this letter to you to open up channels of trade routes that
I believe will be beneficial to both our countries.
If you wish to discuss this further, we would love to have you pay a visit
to our country to discussa treaty between our two fine lands.
We would love to hear a reply from you as soon as possible.

Zelda replied to the letter expressing her acceptance to the trade routes and made plans to travel to the northern coast north of the Snowpeak Mountains, that was the land of Vita.

She, Link and a group of Hyrule's finest warriors are currently travelling to the land of Vita.

Link rode atop of Epona, his trusty Hylian Shield and Ordon Sword on his back, he lead the group as they made their way through unfamiliar teritories, he looked over the map as he lead the group, up ahead was a forest which the Vitan's called the Sylva Forest, if they followed the path, they would safely make it through to the Viridi Village, where they would meet with representatives of the Vitan Royal Family, and be escorted the rest of the way to the capital.

Gwene rode in the carriage with Zelda as they neared the new land. "So, are you excited about coming to this new land?"

Sergius rode at the back of the group, keeping a whether eye out for anything that might attack them from the shadows, so far the trip had been uneventful, either way, he was being payed for it.

Nafre curled up her mistress' arm and hovered her heads over her shoulder. She flared her heads and flicked her tongues. The slightest of smirks lifted the corner of Orla's mouth and she smoothed the back of her finger over the underside of Nafre's neck. Orla looked down at the carriage making its way towards the Sylva Forest, and knew it contained Princess Zelda of Hyrule, herself.

"Go," she said to Nafre and let the double-headed cobra twist down her arm and onto the ground. Orla watched as Nafre silently slithered away from her and down towards the group. In the long grass, Nafre was invisible as she tracked the carriage.

Orla watched until they were out of sight and then turned and disappeared in the other diection.

Zelda, who had been staring out of the carriage window taking in the sights Vita, turned her attention to Gwene with a friendly smile.

"Yes," she nodded and lightly touched Gwene's hand. "And I'm so glad you could join me," she added genuinely. After all, Gwene was one of her closest friends; not only did she adore her company, but she completely trusted Gwene with her saftey.

A tall, shrouding figure turned and walked with Orla.

"It is a privilege to join you in such a delicate mission." Gwene said, returning Zelda's smile " Besides, I was a little over dealing with simple thieves trying to take advantage of everyone during the reconstruction of the Castle."

Steven sat in the carriage just behind their's, and stared out silently with a distrustful squint of the eyes. Vita was beautiful with its amazing scenery, a whole new world you could call it. But Steven didn't even bother embracing this miracle of nature when the Princess of Hyrule was accompanying them. This was more like a mission than a vacation from the same old fields of Hyrule to him, but that didn't mean he thought that others saw this whole thing differently than him. He silently prayed to Nayru for protection during this journey.

Tongues of a wicked purple flame peacefully drifted around Orla like a bee to its hive.

Behind the carriage, where every one else seemed to be Dalikos and Deserax were walking. Dalikos, because he was instructed to, and Deserax, because it was requested by the Sempha Fidel.

"So what do you thinks going to happen at this new land?" Dalikos asked.

Deserax was making one of his fire wolfs run around him for fun. "Probably some boring speech of peace or something. I dunno."

Orla walked briskly back to where a horse was tethered to a tree. She freed the reins and pulled herself up into the saddle. She glanced at the figure following her and nudged her heels into her horse's side, it snorted and started moving forward towards a back route that lead to the Viridi Village.

Zelda rolled her eyes. "Oh I know," she said. "I think this little venture will be a nice change of scenery for the both of us."

The purple flame ascended into the sky and followed Orla from there. It stuck with her like a fairy to a companion.

Orla eyed the purple flame as she entered a darker, thicker section of the Sylva Forest. The heavy undergrowth and canopy shrouded the woods in shadow that gave the illusion that it was night time. The only sound that could be heard was the crunching of twigs and dead leaves beneath her horse's un-shoed hooves.

Konbei walked with Deserax and Dalikos, he had his hands in his pockets and he looked completely bored.

----

Nafre continued to silently follow the carriages.

Deserax made the wolf run around Konbei, but then dissipated it.

"What do you guys do when your bored?" Deserax asked.

"Go find some action." Dalikos responded.

Konbei had been about to respond to Deserax's question, but Dalikos answered for him. He was itching for a challenge, it was half the reason he agreed to this mission, the other half being the need he felt to look after Gwene. He always saw it as part of his responsibility and if she was dedication her skills to protect Zelda, then he figured she would need someone to watch her back in return.

"Yeah well I'm starting to think we're not gonna find a lot of that here..." he said.

"You might be right about that. I could be doing something fun right now!" Deserax started. "Like going roof jumping across Kakariko."

Deserax sighed. It wasn't like he could turn around and go back though.

The purple flame dove through the thick canopies and maneuvered around trees, still following Orla.

"Roof jumping..." Konbei said with raised eyebrows. "Is that really how you spend your time...?"

"Well, its either that, or train, or run around Hyrule. You'd be surprised how little there is to do." Deserax shook his head. "Scratch that. How little satisfies me."

"Well maybe you'll find some pretty Vitan girl the scratch that itch," Konbei chuckled.

As she continued through the forest, Orla hung the reins around the horn of the saddle and took a little glass vile containing a yellow liquid from around her neck. She tapped a droplet into the palm of her hand and enclosed her fist around it, she closed her eyes, whispered something in another tongue and open her hand again. The droplet of yellow liquid, which was actually a sample of Nafre's venom, lifted from her palm and swelled to the size of a coconut. Images started to swirl into shape within the venom ball and the muffled sounds of people talking could be heard coming from it as well as it floated alongside her.

Within seconds the images and sounds became clear and Orla could see and hear everything Nafre could as she spied on the group.

"Well, you never know. I just might!" Deserax said following the joke.

"So. Any kind of action on your end at all? Fights, new powers?"

"There's always action," Konbei said and it was true; he made it part of daily training and conditioning to find a proper, challenging fight... and win.

(I would go ahead and get them to the village but I have a feeling Karl wants to set that up... Just saying.)

"Glad you have so much luck." Deserax made a ball of fire and started tossing it up in the air.

"Any action today?"

(Its fine. I feel like Deserax doesn't get to do small talk much so... yeah. ^.^)

Link continued to look in front of him, noticing it was dark the forest was quite thick and dark on the inside, he looked at the map and saw if they stayed on the main path, they would be safe. He drew out his sword and looked back at the others with a look as if to say 'Keep you guard up' and he continued into the forest.

Gwene looked out the carriage "Looks like we're coming up to the..." she paused and looked at the map on her lap "Sylva Forest."

Sergius was still constantly looking around, he spotted a snake, but thought nothing of it, thinking they were native to the region, fortunately, he had packed plenty of antivenom just in case.

"There will be if you set the forest alight," Konbei said, looking at Deserax's fireball.

Zelda looked out of the carriage window also, her wise eyes now filled with wonder at the sight of the forest. "Beautiful, isn't it?" She commented.

----

Orla continued to keep an eye on the group via the venom ball. Sunlight started to wash through her part of the forest as she came closer to the fringe and the village.

Deserax tossed the fire ball one last time, and when he caught it, he let it burn out. He looked around to make sure no stray sparks had gotten away, and when he saw none, he went back to walking.

Dalikos was looking at the scenery.

"Kinda looks like the lost woods." Dalikos commented.

Konbei nodded in agreement as he looked around. He kept is gaurd up and was prepared to fight is he had to.

"Will you be alright by yourself for a few moments?" Gwene asked "I just want to hop out and see how Konbei and everyone else is."
