"Yes." Gwene said, something still present on her mind. "But I would like to ask one more thing, if that's okay."

Ryan grinned while in his shark form, he sped towards Daekronos and stabbed with Damemorakk multiple times.

Daekronos avoided each lunge and sent a backhand slap at Ryan.

Ryan kept grinning and blocked with his arm, his fins were sharper and jagged than the average sword. Ryan slashed Daemorakk at Daekronos' arm.

Daekronos grunted in pain and pulled his arm away. He swung his hammer at Ryan's side.

Ryan blocked but was sent skidding away, he leapt over with a down strike.

(Tango, you wanted to do something? I'm ready when you are.)

"What's that?" Nuala said.

Daekronos vanished and reappeared behind Ryan with a swing at the back of the head.

"I... I would like to give it the last name Lorbane." Gwene said "In honour of your father and family."

Dane's ears twitched again. He walked over to the hideout's entrance.

"I don't think we're alone anymore..."

"And just who might you be?" Verron crossed her arms and eyed the man suspiciously.

Ryan quickly split from Samehada and blocked with it while stabbing Daemorakk relentless at Daekonos' torso

"well, this guy's clearly not a threat." Verron rolled her eyes and turned to Dane once more. "look, this is going to be hard to belive, but i recently was chosen by the goddesses to be the Sage of Fire, and I got all this power and bla bla bla here's your thing-y back." she pulled out the gun and tossed it to him.

Dane took the weapon wide-eyed. He didn't even think about the machine in his hands.

"...You're a what now?"

Daekronos split into two beings before the sword could hit him. The two deities ran into opposite directions and vanished from sight.

Both of them reappeared in front and behind Ryan with swords in their hands. They lunged.

"you heard me. A sage." she smiled proudly. "it seems that the goddesses saw me as worthy of this honor. They granted me more power than you could possibly imagine." she chuckled

Dane just shook his head in disbelief. "Then there truly is no justice in the world."

Verron childishly stuck her toung out at him. "you're just jealous"

Ryan gripped both swords and blocked the attacks, he twisted around with black hellfire unleashing from both swords.

"Yeah, sure I am." Dane rolled his eyes.

He took a look outside. "I think the coast is clear now. See you later, Verron."

Without another word Dane walked out into the alleyway.

"you're welcome!" she shouted after him hotily.

One Daekronos faded away, while the other and real one dodged.

Daekronos threw his sword at Ryan and summoned his hammer. Without giving Ryan a chance to react to the projectile before he attacked, Daekronos ran at Ryan and swung his hammer at his knees.

Konbei walked down a dingey allyway in Castle Town, he overheard parts of a conversation from inside a shack as he came around a bend, some of the voices sounded familair but he paid them no mind.

Dane walked in the opposite direction of Konbei, and they whacked shoulders on their way past eachother.

"Hey! Watch it!" Dane shouted at the lad.
