The Mad King of Hyrule (Part 2)

"If this bridge collapses, you'll be going with it." Sergius said "But not before I have separated your head from your body." he was always true to his word, and would not stop until this adversary was slain upon his blade.

Ryan scoffed, "I'm done here but if you want to fight then so be it." he hefted Samehada off his shoulder and held him in front of him.

Carol walked through the gates into Castle town with wide eyes. There were so many people! Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw a stone head poking out of the crowd, the head of a Goron. maybe it was the one she'd met the pervious day! to get a better look, Carol pushed her way through the crowd towards it.

Sergius looked at Ryan's sword and raised an eyebrow. "You really wish to fight me, then so be it." he drew his own/

Ryan shrugged, "Never said that man, I'm saying if you want some then come and bring it."

"Then why make the first draw?" Sergius asked, holding his own sword with a light grip "A true warrior know's the art of war, my friend."

"Even then it would only be a one sided fight," Nuala said, speaking mostly to Sergius though her comment was aimed at Ryan. "As is everything when it comes to trying to deal with Ryan."

Ryan huffed, "It's up to you, either way I really need to get going."

"Running away again? It's all you ever do... At least Sergius has the ability to fight for what he wants," she said.

"Up your's Nuala, we all fight for different reasons so shove it." Ryan spat back with a glare.

"So for once in your life fight for something. I thought your race lived for the battle, or can't you handle it?" Nuala pushed. "I never thought I'd live to see the day you defiled your tribe..."

Ryan scoffed and had Samehada wrapped back up,"That's Epyhah among many other Gurins, I fight for the path to find the origin of a specific poison that is plaguing my family."

Nuala scoffed. "Your family? Right because you're so dedicated..."

"It's hypocrytical but I couldn't care less." Ryan spat back

Sergius scoffed "You hunt for the plague, yet, you never thought to look to your self. It's pathetic." he looked at Nuala "You would think that would have been obvious, don't you?"

Ryan glared at Sergius, "you wouldn't know the curse, you're an outsider."

"No wonder your own son hates you." Sergius laughed "You're just a simple pathetic weak coward, with no respect. To him and your family, you might as well be dead." he put his sword away and looked at Nuala "Are we going? We'll leave this simple minded fool to dwell on what little thoughts he has."

Nuala sauntered to Sergius' side and threaded her arm around his just to annoy Ryan further. She paused and smirked back at him.

"I can't tell you how glad I am that we're not together anymore, Ryan. Now I don't have to feel guilty about cheating on you," she said with a small shrug and made to leave.

Sergius wrapped his arm around Nuala's waist and rested his hand on her hip. As he walked past Ryan, he didn't bother to move and shoulder barged past him.

He was still furious with Ryan for defiling one of Hyrule's icons. He loved his home country, and didn't stand for people destroying it.

Once they were far enough from Ryan, Nuala removed her arm from Sergius. "Well that was Ryan for you..." she said in a less than impressed tone. "For a minute then I thought you were going to kill him."

"I was." Sergius said "If he ever crosses paths with me again, next time, he won't be so lucky."

"Mm, well I can't say I blame you in the slightest," Nuala said as she continued towards Castle Town. "You must have given him a good fright, I've never known Ryan not to fight back."

(She couldn't be farther from the truth.)

After they left, Ryan had rigged the bridge with bombs all around and went off in the other direction.

Sergius looked back at the bridge, watching Ryan walk off. It seemed he was leaving the bridge alone.

In a loud boom, a cloud of smoke rose from the bridge from earlier.
