Dance of Dragons

"Come on, I haven't seen you in ages," Konbei laughed. "Don't I get a little more?"

Gwene looked back at him with a smirk. "Oh, you will." she walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the lips "But I'm hungry now, then..." she whispered something into his ear.

"Let's hurry up and eat then..." Konbei grinned.

"Sounds good." Gwene replied with a smile on her face, she grabbed her wallet and iPhone went to the door.

Konbei walked up behind Gwene, he took her hand and continued out the door.

Gwene led Konbei downstairs, her appartment was apart of a complex in the city, and it was in a very nice neighbourhood. "So, have you thought more about what I asked?"

"Yeah, that was half the reason I called you before," Konbei said. "I reckon movining in is a great idea."

"You do?!?" Gwene squealed in surprise. She couldn't help but leap into his arms "That's it awesome!"

Link entered the soup kitchen, he appeared to had a bloody nose and a bit of a black eye. He took a seat at the nearest table wiped the blood off of his face with his sleeve.

Zelda had chosen simple clothes to wear - even in her state, she hadn't lost her impeccable sense of fashion. (Or, at least the clothes matched.) The maid sighed as the girl walked past the breakfast that had been prepared. She hadn't expected her to eat it, but it was still a disappointment.

"I'm ready. Where are Sergius and Impa?" she questioned as she tapped her heeled foot, cell phone in hand.

Malon saw Link walk in, and a frown graced her face as she saw his wounds. Once things had slowed down, she took it upon herself to make his plate and walked over to the table he sat at.

"Hi, Link. Hungry?" she asked, setting the food down in front of him. Her expression betrayed her concern.

A hardened veteran stood near the doorway, a black eye patch covering his left eye and dressed in a black suit and white shirt. "Here ma'am." he answered Zelda's question.

Link smiled as Malon bought the food for him and began to eat.

"Oh, good. What about Impa?"

"She left already with Mr. Hyrule," the maid spoke.

Zelda rolled her eyes and threw on her jacket. "Well, I guess that's our cue to go," she said. "Come on, Sergius. We wouldn't want to be 'late'." The sarcasm was evident in her voice, she obviously wasn't pleased with having to go anywhere.

Malon sat down, inspecting Link's face more closely while he was busy eating. "Link..." she began quietly, hoping to catch his attention. "Who did that to you?"

"Yes ma'am, the driver is waiting out front for us." Sergius replied "He will take us directly there."

Link shook his head as if to say "Don't worry about it, I'm fine."

Zelda followed Sergius through the elegant foyer and outside, where a small Cadillac limousine was waiting. She checked her cell phone as they entered the vehicle. Gwene hadn't answered any of her drunk texts... she was secretly thankful, hopefully she'd forget about them.

"Well, step on it."

Malon sighed. She knew Link wouldn't accept her help, even if she'd known who'd done it. He was much too nice to bother other people with his personal problems. Sometimes she wished he wasn't; then she could give the ruffians a piece of her mind...

"I've been training Epona more, by the way. She loves it when I play music for her. Maybe she'll become a show-horse," Malon said, changing the subject. "You could come see her if you want. You know, the farm isn't all that far outside town."

Sergius climbed in the front seat and shut the door. "Proceed." he said to the driver, the driver then began to drive them to the Lanayru Dome.

Link smiled and nodded, he would have replied, but unfortunately he was a mute, he had become acustomed to speaking with his hands "That would be wonderful. How about after you finish up here?" he mimed out for Malon.

Konbei caught Gwene around the waist and laughed at her reaction. "Yeah, I can't wait," he said. "Just say the word and I'll get my shit and bring it over."

"Well, I have my three days off. How about tomorrow?" she couldn't help but speak quickly. "Or is that too fast."

They had arrived at Lanaryu Dome. It was packed; the media fell into a frenzy as the limo arrived. The security readied themselves for the influx of reporters, positioning themselves near the car doors.

Zelda peeked out the window, her face going pale. "I didn't know it would be this packed..." she said blankly, nervousness tinging her voice.

Malon nodded. "Great! I have about half an hour to go. You want anything else? There's some cookies left over from the bake sale yesterday."

"Don't worry ma'am." Sergius said back to her. "Just keep your head down, and don't say a word." he put on a pair of sunglasses, so as to not be blinded by the onslaught of camera flashes, he then tossed a pair back to Zelda, so as to hide her droopy eyes and avoid the flashes he exited the car and came to her door and opened it, so as to let her out and escost her into the dome.

Zelda put the glasses on quickly, and got out of the car. She had an urge to rip her own ears off as the flurry of activity and noise made them ring unbearably. However, she made it through, and breathed in relief as they emerged inside the dome.

"I. Fucking. Hate. Paparazzi." Zelda didn't take off the shades lest some snoopy cameraman was lurking around. "We have tickets already, right? When is the debate supposed to start?" she asked, throwing a quick look around the busy lobby.

"No ma'am, we will be in the Skybox, away from the paparazzi's reach." Sergius said, escorting her to the elevator. "VIP's only, so they have no chance."

"Perfect," Zelda said with a smirk. "Maybe I can get some sleep then..." she added under her breath.

"Is that you, Zel?" a young man said as he walked up to the two. "Impa almost thought that you weren't going to show..." He had the distinct crimson eyes of a Sheikah, and wore a black suit with the crying eye symbol embroidered on its right lapel.

A text had come up on Zelda's phone, it was from Gwene and it said the following He said yes!!!! I'm so excited!!! Celebratory drinks tonight sound good?

Zelda raised an eyebrow at the man. "Hey Thorne. If Dad sent you, you can just turn your ass around and head back, okay? Because you don't say a word if you're staying." She took her phone out, smiling at the message.

Happy for you, Gwene!!! You know I'm always up for a drink. What time?

Konbei gave Gwene a smile and said, "tomorrow is fine."

How does 7 at my place sound? Then we'll hit up the town, but none of Ganondorfs clubs, they creep me out, I mean, the seedy guys they let in there. I'll text you later.

Gwene had sent another text to Zelda and put her phone away, she then kissed him on the lips. "Oh this is so wonderful. I can't wait! Tomorrow night, we throw a flat warming, tonight, we celebrate on our own." a newer, fresher smile came to her lips "Guess I should buy a bigger bed then."
