The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued (Part 2)

Eyphah growled in pain as he pulled himself out of Daemorakk's serrated edge. His face contorted in pain as he instinctively held his side.

What kind of sword was this? He had taught himself to control his reaction to pain, but this pain was insanely intense. He sucked it up and dealt with the unending pain brought by the demonic sword, and threw a right hook at Ryan's head.

Ryan moved his head with the punch to lessen the damage and Swung Daemorrakk at Epyhah's arm.

Eyphah ducked and did a sweep swing.

Ryan kick Epyhah's kick, "It's your falt Epyhah, just so you know." He said swinging Samehada at Epyhah's head while using Daemorakk at his leg.

Eyphah faded away, turning out to be decoy. The real Eyphah was right above Ryan with a jump strike.

Before anyone could see a thing, a heavy claw was thrown at Cyrus and Verron while the ice head breathed a thick blizzard down on the rest.

Cyrus quickly shoved Verron away from the attack and tried to leap from the way, but the claw caught him and sent him sliding across the ground with a deep gash in his side, he felt his arm break on impact.

Ryan dove and swung Daemorakk at Epyhah's arm while getting cut on his own leg.

Eyphah put up his forearm guard in defense, absorbing most of the blow. If it weren't for the enchantments he put on his armor, his forearm would be missing right now. He landed on the ground and swung at Ryan's chest.

Ryan slammed Samehada down onto the sword and stabbed Daemorakk at Epyhah's chest many times.

Eyphah released his sword and leapt back, smirking deviously. He stood there, unarmed, waiting for Ryan's next move.

Dalikos had wondered out of the hotel, wondering what some comotion was, just in time to see Cyrus hit the ground. "Holy- What?" Dalikos took off running for Cyrus, grabbing a small roll of bandages out of his pouch.

"Bout time you stop sleeping Dalikos!" Deserax shouted. He used some of his fire to stop some of the blizzard.

Cyrus slowly got up, he looked over to see if Verron were okay.

Verron looked from the crag, to Cyrus huddled on the ground, to the crag again. In an instant she made up her mind: She ran as fast as she could to the gap in the rocks, squeezing inside and going as far as the thinly spaced rocks would let her.

Ryan spat bullets of acid at Epyhah while running around at Epyhah and leapt over with a downswing cut.

"Chicken shit!" Deserax shouted to her. He fired a few fire balls at the dragon, not really expecting it to work, just to see how it would react.

Dalikos had gotten to Cyrus and looked at the wound. It was pretty deep.

"Damn dude." Dalikos said. He started to wrap the bandages around his body, covering the wound.

Lucan flew away from the dragon's icy attack, knowing that he was tiring and running low on magic.

"Shit..." Konbei muttered when he saw the dragon. He quickly gathere hellfire in his hands and let it go at the beast, cutting through the blizzard.

The fire head ate the fireballs and fired a stream of fire at the hellfire thrown at it, seeing Verron as its easiest prey, it advanced on her.

"So Konbei. Think you can hold your own?" Deserax held his hand close to his body to charge a little bit of energy. He shot a pulse of fire at the dragon.

Eyphah cackled as he protected himself from the bullets with floating segments of his sword. It had separated into multiple fragments. Eyphah rolled out of the way of Ryan's attack and commanded his sword segments to rain down upon him.

The dragon countered with its own heavy stream of fire, the ice head had found Verron and was ready to attack.

Lucan landed on a nearby cliff and threw a strong gust at the dragon's head as a distraction.

Deserax dropped his sword and used both hands to hold the pulse in place, but it was slowly starting to creep in his direction. "Nrgh! G-Gwene! Your the s-sage! Do something!"

Gwene looked at the dragon and had an idea. "Use your fire and kill the ice head!"

Konbei didn't answer Deserax, of course he could hold his own; what a stupid question...

He drew both blades and made a break for the dragon, planning on diving head first into the fight.
