The Inner Gambit of Darkness - Continued (Part 3)

"Way to add pressure guys." Gwene gave them a look as if to say 'Stop talking'

Nuala looked over at Dane with a glare. She sighed and shook her head but took the Ocarina from Tibarn.

"This is ridiculous..." she muttered to herself.

"The Goddesses work in mysterious ways." Dane said, taking neither Nuala's nor Gwene's dirty looks to heart. It was a difficult descision, but one that could not be shyed away from.

He turned to the King. "So now what, Your Majesty?"

Gwene smiled "I'm glad you're one of us now."

"I am not entirely sure." Tibarn admitted. "I guess we have to wait and see."

Deserax sighed.

"More waiting. Joy. Only thing worse, is not even knowing what you're waiting for..." Deserax said quietly.

"You know, my friend." Tibarn said kindly "Patience is a virtue, strong to its point, if you remember that, I'm sure it would help you during battle in some way."

Deserax shrugged.

"I'm trying to learn it. Hard though sometimes."

"If we will be waiting for a good while to come, then could I...walk around the castle?" Dane asked. "There's someone I've been meaning to meet for the past few days, and if we're going into the Evil Realm I might not have another chance to see him."

Before Dane could do anything, a blinding flash erupted from the statue of the Triforce above the Throne.

Gwene threw her hands in front of her eyes to shield them.

Cyrus turned his head away.

Galenus covered his eyes with his hand.

Dane covered his eyes with his arm as he involuntarily took a step back.

Deserax covered his eyes so he wouldn't go blind.

Steven let out a frustrated sigh. "We don't have the time to wait patiently and see who wants leadership. Has it not come to your minds that Daimus could be planning an invasion? He could strike at any moment if we don't act now." Steven looked at everyone and took a few steps forward.

"Someone has to accept the leadership. Now!"

Steven then shielded his eyes from the flash of light that occured mere seconds after his words.

Three golden woman descended from the Triforce and floated above the ground in front of the group, each of them emitting their own coloured aura, one red, one blue, and the other green.

The great goddesses themselves had descended upon this realm to meet with the group.

Deserax uncovered his eyes and saw them. Even HE regognized who they where.

"TH-A-The three goddesses...!"

Dane could not see the Goddesses, but his heart told him he should not try to look; it knew they were the Divine Creators. He bowed in the presence of Din, Nayru, and Farore.

Celeste clasped a hand over her mouth in delighted surprise at the goddesses' appearance.

Rausten bowed in respect, he then slammed his fist into Deserax's gut, forcing him to bow to the three gods of Hyrule, possibly winding him in the process.
(Sorry for that force hit, just thought I might add a bit of humour in there.)

Gwene sunk her head, in a respectful bow.

Cyrus and Galenus followed suit.

Deserax was forced to bow, as he keeled over.

"I... would've... done... it on... my own..." Deserax managed to choke out.

Atticus fell to his knee, bowing at there presence.

Come children, such formalities are not needed. Din spoke as she floated closer to them.

We have come to speak to you about the threat of your nation. Farore spoke as she also floated closer to them. She looked to Konbei

And aide you all. Nayru spoke as she too, moved closer to the group. Her sight shifted to Cyrus.

Deserax had caught his breath, then slowly stood up, fearing he might get punched again.

"I must be dead... I never thought in all my life, the goddesses would come back to Hyrule."

Konbei looked back at the goddess, wide-eyed.

Atticus looked up at them, wide eyed. He got to his feet.

"What assistance can you give us, my Ladies?" Dane asked, more afraid to look at the Goddesses than bashful.

Steven was calm at the sight of the Goddesses, having seen them before the first time he died and went to the Sacred Realm.
